Mo鈥檚 Fund provides financial support to 探花社区 students who are experiencing financial hardship. Mo鈥檚 Fund is supported by the charitable donations of alumni and friends of 探花社区 who specifically want to support students facing unexpected financial challenges.
What is financial hardship?
Financial hardship is an unmanageable financial burden caused by unexpected adverse events.
What causes financial hardship?
Some causes of hardship are medical difficulties, death or job loss of a family member, fires, floods, or other disasters, or insupportable debt incurred for reasons beyond the individual鈥檚 control.
How many students are affected?
Approximately 25% of students who withdraw or take a leave of absence from 探花社区 do so for financial reasons.
How does Mo's Fund help?
Students experiencing a challenging time can apply for support through Mo鈥檚 Fund. They complete an application and their need is evaluated to receive a small grant to ease their financial burden.
